MORE TRIBUTES TO BUZ MYERSNOTE: Tributes are posted in the order they were received. They may be edited for polish, length, or suitability. A TRIBUTE FROM JANICE CHICKLETTS: Buz was my mentor and I just received his Christmas card three weeks ago here in Mexico where I reside. He was coming to visit I was in the "ON TIME" group in Cleveland and I LOVE HIM dearly. As we say here in Mexico, Mi corazon es en roto ( my heart is broken). As I sit here I have several photos of Buz and I displayed around my computer and I can't keep the tears back. He was my mentor, he always taught me, he never judged me, he made me use my potential, he shared his humor with me, his dark side with me, his fears with me, his laughter with me, his wisdom with me, his guidance with me, his patience with me and most of all his love with me. He is a part of my heart and soul and will always remain so. JANET BERRES RECALLS: I remember Buz Myers' kindness when I was setting up the bookstore for the 1994 ISAR convention in Chicago and I had cases of books to unpack and was alone and quite overwhelmed. Buz walked into the room, and just started helping me unpack the books, and we talked and it was no longer a daunting job. His good natured presence was all that was needed. It is amazing to see how Buz touched so many lives; I've been passing the news on to others, and the sadness, loss and grief felt is tremendous. Buz was a one of a kind, magnificent person (and friend to me) and I can only be thankful he was a part of my life. I believe he is someplace where very special people go after they leave the earth plane, and he is happy, healthy and smiling at us right now...
This is to commemorate the passing of a great man,
Robert "Buz" Myers. He touched my life and I AM more because of him.
Thank you BUZ you will be missed! Keep in touch. I know you did not truly die,
and your work will be continued. THAT'S ALL FOLKS!! The tributes are still pouring in, but this
page simply can't accomodate any more. However, Buz' staff and friends will
want to preserve your memories of him, so please send them an
e-mail.
