Mildred Damiani

Mildred Damiani, nominated by Helen Paul-Wolf, was a prominent astrologer from Lyndhurst, N.J.  She took classes with Lynn Palmer in NYC and devoted over thirty years to teaching and counseling through astrology. She taught in the Rutherford and Lyndhurst Continuing Education programs, as well as privately.  One of her students was Ray Sette (click here to visit his website).  She was also a member of the American Federation of Astrologers, and for seven years was treasurer of the North Jersey Astrology Club.

She was very well-known and respected.  The oldest of six children who survived the Great Depression.  Besides her astrology practice she ran a successful clothing company.

She was of Italian descent, fluent in Italian and took her younger siblings on trips to Italy to spend time with their family there.

Below are some of the newspaper clippings about her and two video interviews with her younger sister, Rose.
