Mildred Damiani, nominated by Helen Paul-Wolf,
was a prominent astrologer from
Lyndhurst, N.J. She took classes with Lynn Palmer in NYC
and devoted over thirty years to teaching and counseling through astrology. She
taught in the
Rutherford and Lyndhurst Continuing Education programs, as well as privately.
One of her students was Ray Sette (click
here to visit his website). She was also a
member of the American Federation of Astrologers, and for seven years
was treasurer of the North Jersey Astrology Club.
She was very well-known and respected. The oldest
of six children who survived the Great Depression. Besides
her astrology practice she ran a successful clothing company.
She was of Italian descent, fluent in Italian
and took her younger siblings on trips to Italy to spend time with
their family there.
