TRIBUTES TO ASTROLOGERS, A-K:
Below is a list of astrologers
who appear on this page. Birth and death data are available for
most, as well as biographical and bibliographical
information and photos. This page is meant to be interactive.
To suggest names, share memories, create tributes, volunteer,
or ask for information, send us e-mail.
Want to light a candle to honor someone on these pages that you loved? You can light a
virtual candle at Gratefulness.org.
The candle will burn down in about 48 hours of real time, just like a real one!
Kepler College Unrestricted Memorial Fund
If you wish to honor the astrologers who appear here with
a contribution to astrology's future, think of Kepler College. The Kepler College Unrestricted Memorial Fund
was created to allow family and friends of a departed loved one to honor
that person through a donation to the College. Unlike individual
memorial funds which require a significant minimum contribution, the
Unrestricted Memorial Fund is intended to provide a means for those
wishing to make smaller memorial contributions. For more information,
visit Kepler's web page.
OUR DEEPEST GRATITUDE to Bette Denlinger of the Magi Society at Solstice Point for donating this space
to the astrology community. Without her generosity, this massive site would not have been
possible. Visit Solstice Point for
information on exceptionally affordable
domain name hosting.
A TIMELINE FOR THIS PAGE
Curious about the data for the memorial itself? The idea was seeded
to Donna Cunningham, the page's webmaster, about the 20th of February, 2000. The proposal
went out to organization newsletters and other magazines on February 25, 2000.
The prototype of the page was uploaded on February 26, finishing at 5:10 PM.
The official opening was for mid-morning on May 28, 2000, to coincide with
the exact Jupiter/Saturn conjunction and the U.S. Memorial Day weekend. Within hours,
the site won its first award, the AstroPro Site of the Week. But, if you
try to erect a chart, WHERE did all this happen? Donna lives in Portland, OR, while the server is based in Los
Angeles, and the site itself is in cyberspace, but lives in the hearts and minds
of all who view it.
